Give an hour. Change a route in.

You don’t need to be senior and you don’t need all the answers. You need twenty minutes and a willingness to say how you actually got in.

About 20 minutes

Read stories and give feedback

From your phone, whenever suits. A few sentences back is enough.

Whenever you have ten minutes

Host a build night

Your workshop, a small group, one evening. We bring the kit and the supervision.

One evening
“I thought I had nothing useful to say — turns out ‘here’s how I actually got in’ was exactly what she needed to hear.”
Priya, structural engineer, mentoring since 2024

What we ask of you

A background check before your first match, a short safeguarding briefing, and honesty about how much time you have. Every introduction is made by a member of our team — you never share your own number.

Questions

Before you sign up.

Do I need to be senior in my field?

No — you need to remember what it was like not knowing anything, and be willing to say how you actually got in. Some of our most-requested mentors are two years into their first job.

How much time does this really take?

As little as one twenty-minute call a month if that's what you say upfront. We match your commitment honestly rather than assuming everyone has more time than they do.

Will I be left to handle anything difficult on my own?

No. Every introduction goes through a member of our team, you never share your own contact details directly, and anything that worries you gets escalated the same day.

What's the background check like?

A standard DBS check plus a short safeguarding briefing, both before your first match. It's the same process most schools and youth organisations use.
